Japanese developer Yuke’s – the studio behind the WWE 2K collection of wrestling video games – has created a second inner staff which can develop a brand new wrestling IP.
The WWE 2K collection has seen a fairly hefty chunk of backlash in recent times (the WWE 2K18 launch on Swap immediately springs to thoughts, for starters) with many believing that the video games’ general high quality has been declining over time. WWE 2K19 faired higher with critics – and skipped Swap fully – however Yuke’s senior vice chairman and producer, Hiromi Furuta, has revealed that the studio is not greatest happy about its current output both.
